Dear Bayway Service Dept,
I felt a much deserved thank you was in order. I am the daughter of a Bayway customer who was in bit of a "family crisis" and you were a safe harbor. My father was put into the hospital and my mother, his wife of 53 years was in a pickle. The A/C on her Lincoln had gone out and she usually leaves all car maintenance up to my dad. She would not leave my father's side but needed a safe dependable vehicle as I live in Fort Worth and had only come down for a few days and was due to return. She sent me to "her guy" Shane Donaldson, whom she said would take care of everything.
First, her ability to have such confidence and faith in a "car repair guy" was tremendous. We've all seen the hidden camera investigations and the way senior citizens are taken advantage of. NOT TRUE at Bayway. You cared for her as if she was one of your own. Second, your team of Phyllis & Shane also merited awards. They met me, took care of all the paperwork, set my mother up in a rent car until her's was repaired, cleaned and updated on its inspection. They went the extra mile to be sure she was safe. They contacted me during the process and kept my nerves from being rattled, they were experts at their jobs.
The care and customer service we received at your dealership was "luxury car care" at its finest. I cannot tell you enough how much that meant to our family as we had a different priority than the car. Your team took that worry off our list and dealt with it better than family. For this gracious gift my family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Let me tell you why I purchased from Bayway. I had been a McRee Ford customer for several years. I thought their attitude and service was great and had no plans to change dealers. In fact, I attempted to buy a vehicle there before coming to Bayway. So, what happened? I just don't like to haggle over price. I want a very simple transaction. Tell me what you will trade for and I will say "yes" or "no." However, I do not want to haggle over the final price. The McRee salesman agreed to do that. The McRee salesman and sales manager didn't respect what was wanted. In fact, after turning down their first offer, they continued to make lower offers as I was exiting. I came to Bayway knowing that you provided loaners for owners. I contacted Jamie on the internet and made an appointment. I told him how I would like to trade. Just tell me the deal and I will take it or leave it. He agreed. He asked what we were looking for-we wanted a light colored Mariner with a leather interior. He came back in a few minutes with the Mariner we purchased. Figured out the deal and we purchased. It was a good experience. We cannot say enough nice things about Jamie and Bayway. It remains so. Our experience with the Service Department has been outstanding. We were reacquainted with Bridget. Several years past she had been our Service Rep. at McRee. Thanks for the positive experience. We would be pleased to serve as a recommendation for Bayway.
